A must read: I’ll never forget Mexico!

December 12 has descended on us! There is only one place in all the Americas that will be concentrated with countless Catholic for one purpose: Mexico & Our Lady of Guadalupe. In honor of Mary, here is Morten Lauridsen’s Ave Maria sung by Nordic Choir at Luther College .

I met some wonderful gentlemen studying for the priesthood of Christ during my time at Seminario Hispano & Universidad de Pontificia. We were sent from our respective dioceses to learn Spanish in order to better serve our people in our respective homes. More importantly, as this day summons many to honor Mary, I strongly believed she called us last summer to be with her. Happy happy feast day! We are all … in one way or another … a Guadalupana for we all belong to her!

Seminarians at the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Assumption of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven

Here’s our class finishing strong!

Mary always leads us to Jesus, always points us to doing his will. No matter how far we have strayed, in her maternal way, she has the tenderness that leads us back to the passionate love of God. Happy Feast to the woman who was made for the morning!
