The only thing that can separate us

FullSizeRender (9)

This past summer, I made my way through Sister Marie Paul Curley’s book Soul of Christ. I am taking this Saturday morning to share the little pearls I have learned from this book.

Permit me not to be separated form you: God is madly in love with us, devoutly committed to us. The only thing that can separate us is sin. Being present to Christ in the Eucharist makes us more committed to Christ and less drawn to sin which ruptures our relationship to him. On this Saturday morning, if we have been away from the Sacrament of Reconciliation, I personally invite you to make a return to Christ. He is there … waiting!
