How good is Jesus?

FullSizeRender (9)

Over the summer, I made my way through Sister Marie Paul Curley’s book Soul of Christ. I am taking this Saturday morning to share the little pearls I have learned from this book.

O Good Jesus: To call Jesus “good” is an act of faith. Faith that he desires our happiness in this life so that we can love him eternally in the next.

Hear me: Often times we can experience a dryness in our prayer life. We have to be reassured that regardless of how we feel, Jesus is always attentive to us. Blessed James Alberione said, “Prayer will obtain either what it asks for or something better.” May our desire for God be holy groaning within us.
