Listening – Day 1

I will take the next few weeks to dive into the world of music each morning. The first week, I’ll give some random selections of my favorite pieces. The following weeks will be more thematic to certain composers. If you have never given classical music a chance, here’s my personal invitation to welcome it into your morning routine! For the best results, consider:

  1. BE ALONE – Good listening occurs in absolute silence with no distractions and no talking. Be alone with the music.
  2. HOPE – There is always a message in music, hope to receive it.
  3. THE HEART – While listening well, take note of how music changes and inspires you. Write it down in a journal and be observant of how it makes us better human beings.

I hope you enjoy … here we go — 50 days of pure beautiful music!

A little soothing music today from the France. If Debussy has never captured your soul before, perhaps today it will. Enjoy.
