¿Donde vas a ir … ? Where are we going?

Our two months have run its course and we have reached the end of studying the beautiful Spanish language…. and it’s only the beginning. I am far from mastering the language and yet am grateful to be able to learn what I can here in México. The majority of us will now return home to the United States, while five of us remain for one more month to continue our practice of the language in México City.
Below is a recording of one of our last nights all together in the chapel where we have prayed for the past two months. In this clip, you’ll hear us sing the Salve Regina, known through Saint Dominic as the most beloved hymn in her honor to the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is commonly sung each night after Vespers and it is the closing hymn that is chanted at the end of a funeral liturgy of every priest. It is a very appropriate way to contemplate our final day together. Enjoy!
