Looking Inside

In the midst of the much needed rain, yesterday could not be more eventful. A flat tire and helping a seminarian brother jump start the car.

Goes to show that at times we must really lift the hood of life and take a close look. The interior life is where God acts and moves. Lent is that time in which we can journey within, to see how God desires to be included in our lives. The great question that is before us is whether we will include the Almighty God in all our decisions or simply be indifferent.

Today, some parishes will celebrate Cycle A with the reading of the Blind Man. Jesus is the one who opens the eyes of the blind, gives words to the mute, and penetrates sound to the deaf. If he has the capacity to awaken us, let us not be indifferent. Let us run to him with songs of praise.
