Being imprinted

We are propelling towards December 12 which is the feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe, patroness of the Americas. But before reaching Saturday, we celebrate the one who prepared her way: Juan Diego.

juandiego2The Blessed Mother uses the simple to bring the message of Jesus to the world. In the fastest conversion known in history, the story of Guadalupe speaks to many generations of how she imprints herself into our lives. When people see the way we live, when they enter into relationship with us, do we give them Christ? Let Juan Diego remind us of the importance of seeing faith through the eyes of simplicity.
