JR Jaldon musing like a Church mouse

I wish at times I was a Church mouse. That way I can crawl all over God’s house and listen in to all the news, gossip (yes, Christians gossip all the time) and avoid the temptation to go down the webs and corners of the confessional box. But alas, I am not a Church mouse (but if you desire to follow the true Church mouse, click here).

The events in the Philippines move the human heart as the Vicar of Christ visits with the faithful of Asian and the people of the Philippines. He is not distant. As a matter of fact, he is in your face. Consider, as we witness his visit everything the Holy Father is saying is consistent with what every Bishop of Rome has said before him which is nothing short of the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. What makes this man capture the world stage his that he brings a refreshing tone to the timeless message of the Gospel!

Pope Francis told the crowds that Christians have in Jesus a Lord who is “capable of crying with us, capable of walking with us, in the most difficult moments of life.”
