Pope Francis arrived in the Philippines safely!  This embrace of the Cardinal and the Holy Father speaks beyond words. Read about the Cardinal’s hopes for the Holy Father’s visit.

Pope Francis is the third leader of the Roman Catholic Church to visit the Philippines. His coming brings hope to the people as his presence brought joy and hope to those in Sri Lanka. As he stepped off the plane, Manila’s strong wind blew off his skull cap … perhaps God’s little humor for the Filipino People and the Pope! Several blogs are speaking of this great visit of the Vicar of Christ and his visit, so it definitely has the world’s attention. When Saint Pope John Paul II visited the Philippines, 4 million people packed his visit! It’ll be a joy to follow all the events that will take place there!
