Overwhelmed by love

10385580_10205399072602319_2608455885297694464_nIt was a chilly night in Berkley as we all went to the 10pm candlelight Mass at Newman Hall. It was then that I knew it was time to break out the scarf and gloves as winter beat me to my drawer. After meeting Louis on the streets, a woman looking for a little help, I was reminded that I met Jesus in her, in our short conversation. I met the Lord Jesus as they needed one more minister to assist with Communion, I met him in the sacraments.

It made absolute sense to me. The Feast of Christ the King, the darkness, and the candlelights ….. moving towards December when the nights are longer …. and we wait for the light of the world. Once again, duped by love.
