October 22: Feast Day of Saint John Paul II

There are things in life you should never jump through the line to touch, but I did it any way! A day like today, makes me remember of my time in Rome a few years ago. While inside the mother Church in the Vatican, right when no one was looking, I jumped through the security rope to simply touch his tomb, to feel connected to the one who I knew as papa. After a moment of touching the cold marble with the red letters of this venerable man of God, the security guard hushed me away!
