Epic Night! Look to the Cross

I have to be honest, I was blown away to find the cathedral packed with so many people on a Saturday night in downtown Sacramento in an event called Night Fever.

Organizers took candles and brought them out to a very busy downtown Sacramento and invited people to have a free candle, enter the cathedral, light their candle, pray, and be on their way. No commitment!

Ok Jesus! We brought them to You. You do what You do for them. I didn’t find myself in prayer more than I did simply people watching, seeing how Jesus drew them to himself. And I am talking all types of people. Jesus loves them all. It was an amazing night.

This goes on here at Aachen and Cologne (among others), and it is really interesting seeing how people react. One woman said it was the highlight of her day, another couple refused a candle three times before taking one, going inside — and staying for two hours! We go as much as possible. Always an uplifting experience.

Taking a collection for your thoughts!
