O God,

who knows the pain of humanity, who stood in solidarity to our human suffering,

and who loved us completely in Jesus Christ,

hear the cry of the poor, hear the cry of your children,

and move us to console those in suffering.

We pray for those in Boston who suffered in this act of evil. Give us a deep sense of compassion in comforting

our neighbor and their loved ones in this time of pain. Breath on us Your Holy Spirit to know that life

is totally in Your hands and that You will never abandon us.

Bring about repentance and conversion to those responsible for this tragedy. All people are called to return to You,

O God. Do not delay in your assistance. We hope in You, O Risen Christ, who lives for ever and ever. Amen.
