O Emmanuel

“O Emmanuel, king and lawgiver, desire of the nations, Savior of all people, come and set us free, Lord our God.”

There are many things in this life which we do not have the answers to. There are many tragedies which we face. Yet, in the middle of it all, we cling to the very fact that God is with us. God remains with us! He is now coming to us in the cave of Bethlehem, in the mystery of the Virgin birth.

“The Lord himself will give you this sign: the Virgin shall be with child, and bear a son, and shall name him Emmanuel.” (Isaiah 7:14)
