To be Irish

A spontaneous morning of celebrating the Solemnity of Saint Patrick in downtown with Trixie! Flags filled the Church representing all the counties of Ireland. It was a reminder of the many sacrifices our Irish brothers and sister in their efforts to bring the Faith to America.

They were once immigrants as Christ was an immigrant with his mother and foster father. Immigrants are called to proclaim the message of Christ in ever place and time in history. We are all journeying to heaven and the celebration of the Eucharist is a reminder of this very truth. Where is heaven? Heaven is where God is present.

In honor of our beloved co-patron of the Archdiocese. A short clip of the liturgy at Saint Patrick’s Seminary & University this past week.
