Angels – they’re real

I’ve known her for as long as I can remember. She has journeyed with me in this life as we dug deeper to understand our Faith. We’ve seen her journey towards Confirmation, we’ve seen her as loving mother, a devout sister, and a caring aunt. Today, we have witnessed her as a faithful wife who made vows today to her beloved husband. Congratulations Angel on responding and committing to your vocation in life.

Angels, spiritual beings whom God has charged over us to guard us in all our ways (ref. Psalm 91.11) Today, I’ve been reminded that not all angels are spiritual beings. Some are right in our midst. They are charged to journey with us as we make our pilgrimage towards heaven. This particular angel so happens to be named Angel as well. PTL!

The vocation to Marriage – so holy, so pure, so beautiful. The Church knows it as the Sacrament of Matrimony – and matrimony is the making of a mother – called to noble love (ref. Tobit 8).
