Dropping in – Day 1 of the Novena

So begins the first day of the 104th Novena to Good Saint Anne and we are off to a great start. Out of all the graces and blessings poured out on the first day, one worth mentioning was the visit of Thomas and his family. Today is Thomas’ birthday and what a delight to celebrate his birthday with him on the first day of novena.

Today, Father John spoke of the sower who scatters seeds all throughout the earth in hopes that the seeds will grow. Just like the seeds, God showers his love on all humanity in hopes that his love calls them to himself. God proves his love today as Thomas and his family simply stopped by at the beginning of what is a beautiful tradition in the Archdiocese.
