Hearts on Fire

This weekend we participated in the 24th annual Northern California Renewal Coalition’s Charismatic Conference at the Santa Clara Convention Center.

I realized that one cannot experience the miraculous unless they experience the ridiculous! What does that imply? To the world, God becoming man and God in the Eucharist may seem like a ridiculous concept, but to us who claim Christ, know that its not ridiculous at all….its reality.

This conference, many came who were hungry and longing for God. Ambergrace said it best in the track of their new CD. She stated that we all have a longing for God and that we need to embrace that longing. We will always be longing because we are all longing for heaven, our final destination. Michele also stated something worth meditating on. She stated that with food there is a limit to what we can take, but with God there is no limit for his love and mercy is limitless, simply everlasting.

A weekend filled with embracing the longing of our lives and the limitless love and mercy of God almighty, especially when we gather for Eucharist. (most photos above courtesy of Lindsey Anne Urmaza).
