To pay attention…. to pay attention to one thing these days is very hard because so much information is being thrown at us at one time: papers, news, assignments, bills, agendas, etc.
But Jesus is inviting us to simply be in the present moment and not worry about tomorrow, but rather be in the now. Deacon Dan, in his Sunday homily, hit the nail on the head, when he said, “To pay attention is to love.” As March begins and as we go through the week, give your entire attention to the person next to you. Turn off the phone and the other distractions and give that person your undivided attention because Christ is in that moment. Dare to love this way and see the fruits that will come of it.
